Pool Hayes Primary School runs a breakfast club for all children.  The breakfast club runs from 7:45am – 8.40am and takes place in the school hall. Children are escorted from breakfast club to their classes in time for the morning register. Members of breakfast staff take a daily register and hold a current food hygiene and first aid certificate.

What happens at breakfast club?
Children can choose from a variety of nourishing breakfast options from: toast, cereal, yoghurts, fresh fruit with fruit juice/milk and have the opportunity to play with their friends and take part in fitness activities if they wish. An adult is always on hand to help with homework too! Games are supervised and there are calm tables for reading, homework and colouring activities.

Is there a last entry?
We appreciate that traffic in the morning can be problematic so there is no last entry to the breakfast club however; to make sure all children have time to eat their breakfast, the latest time for entry would ideally be 8:30am.

What is the charge?
A nominal charge of £3.00 is made for entry, including breakfast. Please pay before attendance or on the day.

Do children need to attend every day?
Children do not have to attend breakfast club every day.

Please ask Mrs Davis (PSA) for any further information.
