Firstly, we hope you have had a lovely summer! In the autumn term of Year 5 we are settling in to a new environment with new surroundings. We start the year reading a Roald Dahl classic and understanding numbers up to 1,000,000. There is lots of learning to be done as we look at different forces that are all around us, Chinese art and Ancient Maya and much more.
We would like to remind you that reading books and reading records are expected to be brought back every week.
Homework will be given out on a Friday and it is expected back in on a Wednesday.
Our PE days are Monday and Friday. Please ensure your child is wearing the correct PE kit and is either not wearing and jewellery or is able to remove it.
