Pool Hayes Primary Vs Beacon Primary
18th May 2016

Result 11 - 0

Wow! Where to start?
Pool Hayes settled into the match coming off the back of two wins with great confidence and started brightly.  Passing and moving, finding space, making runs off the ball for each other, they couldn’t have dreamt for a better start to the game. One and two touch passing from the boys was breathtaking. The first goal came a couple of minutes into the game with a lovely move out wide with a superb whipped cross for Joe to tap in for his first goal since Christmas. From then the goals just kept on coming with Joe adding a further two, Caden adding one and Ciaran and Jack adding another one each sending Pool Hayes into the break 6-0 up.
Half Time
Pool Hayes 6 – 0 Beacon Primary
Pool Hayes flew straight out of the blocks within minutes of the second half, continuing from where they left off. A sublime run down the left from Caden with a stunning strike across the keeper low into the bottom corner made the score 7. With more superb pass and move football, Jack added another and his second of the night, taking the score to 8. Then came what we’ve been working on. A training ground move with Harley making a late run from half way to the near post which saw his glancing header find the far low corner. Then another training ground move from yet another corner saw the ball go deep to Caden, with his low drilled cross flicked on by Harley who wrong footed the goalkeeper and saw his cheeky flick find the bottom corner for his second goal of the game, second goal of the season and Pool Hayes’  10th of the match. A superb display was then rounded off with also his 3rd of the match, Caden. A lovely one two move down the right saw the young Wolves outlet fire the ball low and hard into the far corner rounding off a memorising 11-0 win for Pool Hayes.

Pool Hayes 11 – 0 Beacon Primary

M.O.M - Harley, not only for his two goals, but a solid defensive display for the full 40 minutes of the match.
Some of the football played was superb. Before the match I told the boys that it was only a friendly against our neighbours Beacon, just go out and enjoy it and play the football I know you’re capable of playing. No matter what the score is, keep playing football and stick together as a team whether we win, draw or lose. I stood back and watched for the majority of the game and said nothing. I am a firm believer that I can only pick the strongest team each week who I think will go out and win the football match. So far the boys are repaying that back and producing quality which is top stuff. I am extremely proud of each and every one of the boys and all the effort, attitudes and commitment they are putting in.
Keep it up boys!
Pool Hayes Primary Vs Christ Church

Tueesday 27th October 2016

Pool Hayes 3 – 0 Christ Church
Pool Hayes started their new academic season in the same style they finished the last. Right from the first whistle they flew out of the blocks playing some lovely football opening the scoring after 5 minutes through Ciaran Redfern. Pool Hayes settled into the match quickly adding a second mid-way through the first half. After dominating the first half Pool Hayes saw themselves go into half time leading 2-0.

HT- 2-0

The second half started just like the first, Pool Hayes added a 3rd within minutes of the second half after a lovely team move down the right. Controlling the match at 3-0, Pool Hayes were unlucky not to add more goals to their tally as the goalkeeper and crossbar came to the rescue for Christ Church.

Post Match Review… from Mr Dean
A very professional performance from the Pool Hayes players allowed them to come off the field in a winning position at 3-0. Great team attitude and spirit was shown throughout the match at all times which was a delight to see. We take confidence from this performance into our next match on Tuesday 8th November against Busill Jones Primary School and continue the high level expectancy I have of our squad of players.

Thank you for your continued support.
